Being a tourist in Ottawa

Hello girls and boys,
I hope you are having a great summer! This week, I decided to be a tourist in our city, Ottawa.

I went to the National Art Gallery and also visited the Mosaiculture, just over the bridge in Gatineau. It was in the same  park that we went sledding in this winter. Do you remember? We tried to sit on a bench made of ice! Well, there was no ice this week. The park has been turned into beautiful gardens.

Here are some pictures for you:

This is a painting of the northern lights!

gardens inside the gallery

famous Canadian painting The Jackpine

Do you see the rabbit tracks? Maybe it's Roger the rabbit....

This entire train is covered in plants! Do you see the wheat field?

inukshuk and polar bear

puffins with fish in their mouth

This grand piano is a bit bigger than the one in our class!

I hope you get a chance to go see this display. It's in Jacques Cartier Park. Enjoy the rest of the summer! Stay safe!
