Morning glories

Hi girls and boys, this summer I planted a vine by the stairs and this week it has been flowering! These are called morning glories and the blooms last for one day! In French we say belle d'un jour, which means beautiful for one day! There are two flowers today, can you see them in the picture? I wonder how many blooms there will be tomorrow!
Here is a close up of the flower:
The mini pumpkins are getting bigger!
See you soon!:)

Another garden visitor

Hi girls and boys, look who showed up in my garden today: a toad or a frog, not sure which! I think he likes the mini pumpkins!:) I hope he eats some mosquitoes!!
I also have two beautiful bushes flowering with hibiscus flowers! Do you prefer the white one or the bluish purple one?
I have some mini pumpkins growing! I wonder if they will be white or orange? What do you think?

Summer

Hi boys and girls, I hope you are having a great summer with this beautiful weather! Today, there was a little chipmunk visiting my backyard. I think he might be eating in my garden!
I think I might have a small pumpkin growing. It was difficult to take a picture because the leaves are prickly! Are your pumpkins growing?
A few weeks ago, I visited the Fortress of Louisbourg in Nova Scotia. While I was there, I saw a goose taking a bath in a barrel! Isn't that a silly picture?
There were also lots of chickens and that reminded me of our little chicks in our class! Maybe the white one is a rooster?
