Sunny Tuesday

This morning, we sang a French song with Mme Labrosse - Quand le Pere Noel vient me visiter. We also went to the library to exchange our books.
Polkadot left us a playdough message that said Be good! He also put glitter in our playdough!
We made our second purple candle for our wreath - we wrote Peace on it. We made Christmas pictures with the pegs. We matched Christmas words and pictures on the smartboard. We also put letters in alphabetical order.

Snowy Monday

What a snowy day! This morning, we are reviewing our French Christmas words. Polka Dot our elf left us some Christmas cookie cutters for the playdough. We are putting Christmas lights in alphabetical order and counting how many decorations are on the tree. We are making angel crafts. At the smart board, we are matching french words with the pictures. At the end of the day, we had our Second Advent Liturgy and lit our 2 candles on the wreath.

Firemen Friday

This morning Polkadot (our elf) came in with ear muffs because we were too loud for him yesterday, we are working on that today.  This morning we had a visit from a fireman who talked to us about fire safety and gave us coloring books to do at home.  We then had group snack and went to gym.  What a morning!

This afternoon we did some Christmas yoga and read The Silly Snowy Day.  We worked on our creativity and fine motor skill by creating a Mr.potato head and drawing a picture of him.  We         re-enacted daily life with our Christmas doll house.  We built Santa's village and the nativity scene with Lego.  Santa lost his suit so we drew him a new one!

Surprising Thursday

This morning, there was an elf sitting on our piano!! What a surprise! He left us a note and a present - a Christmas story made out of felt. This morning, we are making patterned lights, acting out the story of Christmas, using pastels and cooperating.
