Chilly Thursday

It's a bit chillier today! Brr! Some students are showing a lot of interest in space so we have decided to turn our airport into a space station. We even have astronaut mission reports to fill out. We have the watercolor paints out and are making some masterpieces. We have a new space puzzle that has 60 pieces!! We are cooperating in the kitchen and building with Tegu blocks.

Our grade 3 friends came to read with us this morning.

Ash Wednesday

We are talking about how we get our hearts ready for Easter. We each made a heart with a picture to show how we will get ready during Lent.
This morning, some of us are making books, some of us are playing an alphabet sound game, some of us are building with magnet blocks or wedgit blocks and many friends are interested in playing a french smart board game.

This afternoon, we sang the song Rain, rain, go away....

We finished our day with a beautiful Ash Wednesday liturgy and received our ashes.
