Tuesday June 5th

This morning we are reviewing our June activities with the calendar. We are also reviewing our Farm animals in French.

Reminders:

Wednesday: Free happy meal lunch for those who sent in permission forms. Please make sure your child still has 2 healthy snacks. Thank you!

Thursday: Last day to return library books.

Friday: PD Day, no school for the students.

Our reading buddies came over and we read and wrote about our summer bucket list. Thank you reading buddies for helping us!

We are sending home your child's duo-tang. It is filled with work that was displayed in the classroom throughout the year. You can see pictures from September all the way to work done last week! Enjoy looking at your child's progress. You can keep the red duo-tang at home.

Monday June 4th

Rain, rain go away.....This morning we are drawing building, writing, reading and pretending. We now have a beach dramatic play area.

If you still have little books from the reading program, please return them to school. Thank you!

We are on the hunt for some loose parts that may be collecting dust in your basement or garage. Our goal is to start creating an outdoor water wall and/or marble run and a music wall with the children. If you have anything lying around and you would like be willing to donate we would appreciate it.

Here are some ideas:

• PVC piping
• Eavestroughing
• Plastic dryer vent
• Old pots and pans
• Large wooden/metal spoons
• Buckets (Home Depot)
• Wallpaper trays
• Washboard (big wish!)
• Cookie sheets or aluminum pie plates
• Muffin tins

Really anything that can have water poured through or can be banged on to make “music”.

Friday June 1st

We are enjoying exploring centers outside. This morning we are building, reading, writing, patterning and sharing.

We continue to play outside every day - please make sure your child is dressed to play comfortably outside. Please: no long, fancy dresses or fancy shoes. Thank you for your understanding.
