Freezing Friday
Big News: Mrs. Jessica had her baby boy, Wyatt, this morning! More info coming later!!
Other big news: Since our class won the Pizza lunch for the Dance-a-thon, we will be having a FREE pizza lunch next Friday, March 2nd. Way to go boys and girls! Thank you Parent Council for the pizza lunch!
Library news: We did not go to the library this week as the Book Fair was in the Learning Commons. We will hopefully be able to go next Thursday.
Thank you to so many parents who came out for interviews last night. We appreciate your support!

Sunny Thursday
Jersey Day tomorrow - we are accepting donations for the Chalice organization. Hopefully we will have enough money to buy goats or chickens for families in need.

Wet Wednesday
It's raining again! This morning we are turning our airplane into an aquarium center! We are busy painting fish, rolling and adding, using playdough and loose parts. We have a big village made out of the big waffle blocks. We are adding up the medals and graphing the results.
Book Fair: We will be going to visit the book fair tomorrow - Thursday - if you want your child to purchase a book, please send in some money in a labelled zip lock bag. Thank you! The book fair will also be open when you are at school for interviews. Please schedule your time online - see e-mail sent to you last week.

Rainy Tuesday
This morning we are checking in on the medal count. We can't believe how fast the bobsledders are going! We are making Olympic signs, writing Olympic words and using playdough.
Book Fair: The Scholastic Book Fair is in the Learning Commons this week. Our class will be going to the book fair this Thursday at 10:15. If you want your child to purchase a book, please send in his or her money in a labelled ziploc bag on Thursday. You can also attend the Book Fair when you come in for an interview on Thursday as it will be open in the evening.

Happy Canadian Flag Day!
This morning we went in the hallway to sing Oh Canada, while waving our little flags. We are making flags out of paper, playdough, blocks.
