Petrie Island Fun

We had such a beautiful time at Petrie Island. We saw some frogs, some turtles, some birds, dragonflies, tadpoles, even  a baby turtle! We had a scavenger hunt, went on the turtle trail and even made believe we were female turtles burying our eggs in the sand! There was also a climber and huge sandbox to play in! A big thank you to all of our parent volunteers who make these outings safe for everyone!

We also have a picture from last night's BBQ - the fire truck visit.

On Monday, June 20th, we are having a bubble water day in the morning, weather permitting. Please send a change of clothes for your child to change into after playing at different water stations in the morning. It would also be preferable to have shoes that can get wet (crocks or water shoes). He or she should be wearing sunscreen and a hat. We will also be having a freezie snack. Please see note sent home today in communication books.

This afternoon, some of us are having a hard time staying awake! We are finishing Father's Day crafts, building, cutting, gluing and resting!

You take a picture of me and I will take one of you!
