Last day of school

It's the last day of school! We have had such a good year together, learning, exploring, laughing, playing! A special thank you to the parents and volunteers who made this year so special for us - in so many ways - helping out on field trips, donating classroom items, reading with us every week, handing out pizza, making playdough - and the list goes on!
Please keep reading the blog over the summer.....We sometimes likes to blog about different things over the summer....

Terrific Tuesday

Miss Lindsay came for a visit this morning. We had lots of questions for her! Thank you for the visit!

Reminders: Report cards were sent home tonight, as well as your child's scrapbook. We also sent home blankets and mats. Please make sure you empty out your child's school bag. Thank you! We will be having a popsicle treat tomorrow. If this is a problem, please let us know with a note. Thank you!

Fun Monday

What a beautiful sunny day for our Summer Fun Day!
As we near the end of the school year, please empty out your child's school bag every night. We will be sending home extra clothes, blankets, scrapbooks, shoes, etc.

Rain, rain, go away....

We started our day with a Caught You caring assembly. We also watched a beautiful slide show of our school year. A very musical Grade 6 student played the guitar and sang an especially touching song.
In gym class we did expressive dance, followed by a performance, by the Drama Club. They presented the play Lost Boys (the story of Peter Pan). Very well done, Drama Club!

The afternoon was also exciting as we had a Little Ray's Presentation! Here are a few pictures.

This afternoon I liked going to see the reptiles.

I liked making a picture of a chameleon.
I liked seeing the animals and petting them.

Fun Day on Monday. Please make sure your child is wearing shorts and a t-shirt, running shoes, hat and sunscreen. If you send in a water bottle, please label it with your child's first and last name.

Today was the last day for the Milk Program. If your child usually gets milk, please send in something else to drink.
