First Monday of Advent

This morning, we started the first week of Advent with a celebration. We sang songs, said some prayers and lit the first candle on our Advent wreath.  We then went to the gym for a Caught You Caring Assembly.

We lit the candle of Promise this week.

This afternoon we read a beautiful story called Come and See, A Christmas Story and then talked about Baby Jesus. We then talked about how we could change our vet's office to a stable for Baby Jesus. The children had many good ideas. They were very helpful in cleaning out the vet's material and setting up a stable.
