I hope you had a good week! Lots of sunshine! Did you go swimming? Are you going for bike rides? Did you go to camp? I hope you're writing your summer adventures in your journal! Did you play any dice games?
I did lots of gardening and I made some rhubarb jelly with my Mom. I made so much jelly that I ran out of rhubarb in my garden and in my parents' garden - I had to go buy some at the grocery store! I also went to the farmer's market here in Orleans on Thursday. I bought some yummy strawberries and peas. I love peas. The raspberries in my garden are turning red so every day I go have a snack in the garden and eat raspberries. Yum! Do you like raspberries? Have you had any locally grown strawberries and raspberries? They are so delicious.

clean the rhubarb stalks
cut and add water
bring to boil and keep stirring
add mixture to cheese cloth and strain
add sugar to juice and boil again, stirring constantly
pour jelly in jars
Ready for morning toast! Yum!
This is what Tesla was doing while I was making jelly.....relaxing in front of the fan!
I brought her to the groomer's to get a hair cut. This is what she looks like now:
She always smells so good when she comes back from the groomer's!
