Fun Friday

This morning, we answered the question of the day which was Do you have skates at home? Then we looked at shapes and found the differences. At centers, we built ramps and puzzles. Some of us completed a new Polar Animal Write the Room. We also went to the gym and played soccer and scoops.

This afternoon, we looked at some videos of penguins walking around with eggs. We then tried to walk with big plastic eggs. It's surprisingly difficult!

Puffins are good swimmers.

Puffins can fly.

Puffins have nests.

Seagulls like to eat puffins.

Their beaks are grey in the winter and orange in the spring.

In French, they are called macareux.

Baby puffins are called pufflings.
