Today is Palm Sunday. I took some pictures of my Dad as he was braiding the palm he received at Church this morning. He is 89 years old, only braids the palms once a year and has to remember from year to year how to "start" the braiding. I hope you are having a beautiful weekend and enjoying the outside before it starts raining!
First you separate all the pieces as some are stuck together.
Then you take 4 leaves and make each one go to the center from all 4 directions.
Put 3 leaves on top then insert the last leaf to keep it in place.
Keep repeating.
All done! I will bring this one and another one to school tomorrow.
